Welcome to the website for Hickory Valley Baptist Church! We believe that Jesus Christ is the answer to the search for true meaning and purpose in life. Our hope is that we can help people experience Him personally and grow in understanding of Him.

I have come to realize that each church has its niche in the community. We cannot be everything to everyone, but we are dedicated to ministering to
the people in our community. We continue to welcome everyone as part of our family – the family of God! We hope that you will stop in and give our church a try!

Contributions to Hickory Valley Baptist are used as follows:

	90% for church ministry
	5% for local association ministries
	5% for Cooperative Program of Southern Baptist Convention

Services
Hickory Valley Baptist offers the following services:

	Sunday morning worship, which is a traditional service with an emphasis on Bible teaching and presenting the gospel to non-believers.
	Sunday nights, a more relaxed atmosphere with the primary focus on teaching the Bible to Christians. Youth and children meet in separate classes.
	Wednesday nights, which consist of a prayer meeting and interactive Bible study about the most relevant life issues. Youth and children have separate classes.

Special meetings include revivals, singings, and associational meetings.

The Hickory Valley Baptist family enjoys regular times of fellowship together, including picnics, occasional meals after worship services, hayrides, holiday parties, Sunday School class parties, youth trips, and other social outings. These times of fellowship have helped to create a warm and caring church "family".

The Holy Bible is the main basis for the doctrine of Hickory Valley Baptist Church. The "Baptist Faith and Message" further defines the church's doctrinal stance.
